A happy runner of the Mizuno Amsterdam Marathon 2012
De 37ste editie van de TCS Amsterdam Marathon zette Amsterdam afgelopen zondag 21 oktober 2012 qua organisatie weer helemaal op z’n kop. Maar het was wederom een mooi spektakel om zoveel mensen de marathon te zien lopen. De foto’s in de slideshow zijn van de Mizuno Halve Marathon, gemaakt aan de Insulindeweg tussen ongeveer 14.30 en 17.00 uur. The 37th edition of the TCS Amsterdam Marathon on the 21st of October 2012 put Amsterdam upside down in its logistics. But it was a blast again to see so many dedicated people walk the marathon. The pictures in the slideshow are from the Mizuno Half Marathon, shot at the Insulindeweg between approximately 14.30 and 17.00 rs. On the map you can see the location between the two red crosses at the right.
In de reguliere media wordt weinig aandacht aan de Mizuno Halve Marathon besteed. Het is een waar festijn, mensen van over de hele wereld komen naar Amsterdam om eraan mee te doen. Onderstaande fotoreportage in de slideshow is een ode aan een ieder die marathons loopt, ik heb diepe bewondering voor marathonlopers. Wie zijn deze mensen? U ziet ze op de foto’s. The Mizuno Half Marathon doesn’t get a lot of attention in the mainstream media. This part of the marathon is truly breathtaking to watch, because people from all over the world travel to Amsterdam to walk this marathon. This photo slideshow is my ode to everyone who walks marathons, I feel a deep respect for marathon runners. Who are these people? U can see them on the pictures.
